Impossible to choose Chelsea's goal of the month for September

New, comments

The discussion around Chelsea Football Club may have been dominated by our defensive foibles, but we would remiss to not acknowledge some of the absolutely fantastic goals that the Blues also managed to produce. After all, Chelsea did lead the Premier League in shots at one point and while the production fell off a bit in the back-to-back losses to Liverpool and Arsenal, we are still third, behind only Liverpool and Spurs.

Here then, courtesy of Chelsea TV and the club's ever improving YouTube channel, are the five nominees for September goal of the month. Impossible to choose, really, and that's including the goals from Chelsea Ladies' Gemma Davison and the long-range bomb from the youth team's Mukhtar Ali.

Ok, fine, Azpilicueta it is, just for the sheer rarity, not to mention importance of it. While it was "only" in the League Cup, it completed Chelsea's two-goal comeback against Leicester City and set the Blues on our way to win it in extra-time.

How about you? Vote below and don't forget to cast your vote in the official poll on the website as well.
