ICYMI:
So I finally worked up the courage, motivation, and, eventually, technical know-how to do a Facebook Live thing yesterday. You can watch it here, if you missed it.
The only reason I'm talking about it again is that I want to get better and more comfortable at it, both of which will come with practice, surely, but also via some constructive feedback.
I've already heard several good things, like look into the camera more often (my defense here is that I the streaming thing I watch most often is people playing games on Twitch, which by definition, requires them to look at their second screen instead of the camera) and pay attention to the comments. My excuse for the second one is that I had planned on going live right after the game, but then due to technical difficulties, it took me over 30 minutes to do. By that time, the comments on the R&R died down and I completely forgot about comments coming in on Facebook itself. So yeah, will remember to do that next time. I also need some notes or an outline at least, so I'm not just winging the whole thing.
Anything else? Shall I tidy up my office a bit?
How about what sorts of content would you be interested in? The plan is to do a post-match show then, but there's probably room for more if there's interest.
Thanks.
