Chelsea players on international duty: Who, when, how to watch Monday

New, comments

Club teammates face off, plus a couple loanees in action in the African qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup.  Here's what to watch for in senior international action today, Friday, October 7, 2016.

Netherlands vs. FRANCE (World Cup 2018 qualifying)

When:  19:45 BST; 2:45pm EDT
Where:  Amsterdam ArenA, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Who:  N'Golo Kanté (10)
How:  ITV 4 (UK); Fox Sports 1 (USA); elsewhere

Kanté was not needed in France's win over Bulgaria a few days ago, but against fellow Group A heavyweights Netherlands, he might just see some action.

BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA vs Cyprus (World Cup 2018 qualifying)

When:  19:45 BST; 2:45pm EDT
Where:  Stadion Bilino Polje, Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Who:  Asmir Begović (52)
How:  Sky Sports Red Button (UK); Fox Soccer 2Go (USA); elsewhere

Bosnia gave up four without a reply to Belgium; they will look to administer a similarly hefty defeat on hapless Cyprus, who have lost five in a row and have won just four games in four years.  One of those four did come against Bosnia in 2014 however.

Gibraltar vs. BELGIUM (World Cup 2018 qualifying)

When:  19:45 BST; 2:45pm EDT
Where:  Estádio Do Algarve, São João da Venda, Portugal
Who:  Eden Hazard (73), Thibaut Courtois (45), Michy Batshuayi (8)
How:  Sky Sports Red Button (UK); ESPN3 (USA); elsewhere

The only question here is just how many goals will Belgium score.  Sorry, Gibraltar.
