Just minutes after the final whistle blew on Chelsea's best performance of the season, they received some harsh news. Their reward for advancing to the FA Cup fifth round is a home date with Premier League rivals and current title challengers Manchester City.
The last sixteen clubs remaining in this year's FA Cup competition and somehow Chelsea and Man City were the first two pulled from the random draw. Luckily the Blues will get to host City instead of having to travel to the Etihad Stadium.
Guus Hiddink will likely go all-out in this clash of past Premier League champions as it is undoubtedly Chelsea's best chance at a trophy this season. The fixture will be played on the weekend of Feburary 20-21 at Stamford Bridge. City are the only Premier League side to defeat Chelsea in the FA Cup since the Blues last won the competition.
Manchester City just received some horrible injury news as their top signing of this season and former Chelsea player Kevin De Bruyne would be out for three months and will miss this important match.
Chelsea's form is steadily improving under their new manager, this will be the ultimate test of where they currently stand.
