Perhaps one day we'll find out just exactly what Chelsea were thinking in signing Papy Djilobodji on the last day of the summer transfer window.

Was it a favor to his agent? Did somebody play a prank on Emanalo's copy of Football Manager? Did we think he was the next Gary Cahill? Did Mourinho simply lock him away in a dungeon as collateral damage in some sort of power play between him and the board? Has Hiddink not found the keys to said dungeon? Is Papy a CIA agent and this whole thing was just cover for a secret mission?
If the latter is true, it sounds like Big Papy's next assignment is in Germany.

The report claims that Werder will pay €400k for the 6-month loan. That's not bad for a useless player. Maybe they'd want to take Falcao off our hands, too?
