As usual, to see the full-length video, you'll have to head over to the official Chelsea website and, armed with your Fan Club Plus+ subscription, watch it there. Could Wipro eventually improve on this silly arrangement? Is that what they do? I'm not sure. But, and I don't even like the guy, I could follow Kevin De Bruyne's first day almost as if I were there in person over on the Manchester City YouTube channel...
But back to Big Papy. (Does he love it if we call him Big Papy? He sure seems a true player.) While his English is pretty good, most of the first interview is in French. Like most new signings, he speaks a lot of about working hard, constantly improving, winning things, helping the team however he can, and proving himself. For Djilo, the latter bit is perhaps more relevant than usual, considering the circumstances of his arrival. He does mention that the transfer took maybe 2-3 days altogether but that he's practically not touched a football for over a month, which means that he's got a bit of ways to go to match fitness and could also explain, at least in part, his absence from our Champions League squad.
In any case, welcome and good luck, Big Papy!
