No, Jose Mourinho didn't just cover his entire body with tattoos and Frank Lampard didn't break the longest marathon ironing record, but Guiness Book of World Records has recognized both of them anyway (for achievements in the world of football).
Mourinho's world records include: Most Points in a Premier League Season (95), Most Champions League's Won at Different Clubs (2), Youngest Manager to Reach 100 Champions League Games (49 years 12 days) and Most Games Unbeaten at Home in the Premier League (77).

At least Mourinho looks slightly more thrilled with these certificates than he did at the official unveiling of our new IT partner or some such. And you thought our plight as fans was terrible during the international break!

For their 2016 edition, Guinness World Records handed out new recognitions to several athletes as well, including our future legendary manager Frank Lampard. By scoring against Chelsea last season, he broke Andy Cole's record (38) of having scored against the most Premier League teams (39). This one still stings a bit, though it ended up not mattering in the end.

Hurray, I guess.
"The fact they gave me the awards in a way that I can put them up in my office is nice. It's something fun and as a kid you could never imagine that one day you would be in the Guinness Book of Records."
"You know me, these awards are for something I did in the past and obviously it's nice, but for me what's more important is what I can do in the future."

And there's plenty of work to be done, that's for sure!
