Chelsea's newest signing Papy Djilobodji may not have a place in the Champions League squad, but he's been assigned a shirt number by the Blues. The Senegalese center back will wear number 15 for the 2015/16 season, a number that was almost in use last season. (No one seems to want shirt number 3?)

That shirt has previously been worn by long-serving players like Mario Melchiot, Didier Drogba, and Florent Malouda. More recently, it's been gracing short-term options such as Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah. Hopefully, Djilobodji is more like the former, and less like the latter.
Incidentally, this is the second time that the Blues showed off a new signing with the number 15 shirt on Thursday.

Poor Wipro only had their number for about an hour before it was given away to the new kid. Oh well, I doubt we'd have sold too many of those, anyway.
