Chelsea vs. Swansea City: Second half discussion

There was little surprise in Jose Mourinho's starting lineup on Saturday afternoon, and after 45 minutes of play, the only real surprise is just how open this Chelsea match has been. The Blues lead 2-1 in what has been a very entertaining affair, with an opener from Oscar and an own goal finding the back of the Swansea net.

Both sides began the match pressing their opponents high up the pitch, and both have had some excellent opportunities to score in addition to their goals. I'd expect to see Jose Mourinho close up shop a bit at the half, however, in order to limit some of those opportunities in the final 45 minutes.

One real bright spot for Chelsea fans has been the performance of Diego Costa, who looks healthy and dangerous despite the concerns about his hamstring. With any luck, Costa will find the back of the net early in the second hlaf, and Mourinho will be able to give the Spaniard some rest a bit earlier than usual.
