The Telegraph cite no sources, so they're either working from inside information or they're just drawing a potential conclusion from Mourinho's post-Fiorentina comments, which revealed that while Costa trained before the Community Shield, he was eventually not selected because he was "not comfortable." Presumably, if Costa trains on Friday and is feeling not "not comfortable," he would get the nod over the good-but-out-of-form Remy and the motivated-but-not-good Falcao.
With Mourinho already in a self-imposed radio silence about Costa's injury, we shall have to wait until the 2015-16 kicks off to find out who starts up top against Swansea. Fortunately (or unfortunately), that's only about 36 hours away...
