Finally, it looks like the pieces are falling into place. We've been operating with just five able bodies on defense in preseason, but hopefully we'll make that at least six very soon.

That's 21-year-old left back Philipp Max posing with the FC Augsburg shirt after signing a two-year deal earlier today. Why is this important? Obviously, it now allows another 21-year-old left back to leave Augsburg, and he's the one we've been waiting for to fill the gap left by Filipe Luis's return to Atletico Madrid.
There were rumors that Baba Rahman flew into London last weekend for a medical, following rumors of terms being agreed as well, but nothing official seemed to surface. The final price for the left back is still most likely to be around €25m (£17-18m), which sure is a pretty penny, but seems like a bargain when compared with the silly rumors surrounding £15m-man Danny Rose. In any case, it sounds like we don't have to worry about the rumors for the Spurs man becoming true for some unfathomable reason. Baba should be ours soon.
