As was rumored last week, Lucas Piazon has joined Chelsea legend, now assistant coach Steve Clarke at Reading on loan for the season.

At the time of the original rumor, Piazon looked the less likely of the two rumored Chelsea players set to be joining the Championship side. As it turns out, it's Chalobah who ends up going to a more exotic location in Napoli, while Piazon's the one who ends up staying more local.
After loans in Spain (Málaga) and Germany (Eintrach Frankfurt), this might be looked at as a step down, but it should also provide a nice test in terms of Piazon's physicality. It should also be noted that Piazon himself supposedly rejected a loan move to Rennes in France just the other day, so presumably Reading is something that appeals to him personally as well.
