A couple odds and ends here that are not related to either of the two big-money transfer sagas that we're currently embroiled in. Well, one's a saga for sure. The other's more of a please-let-there-be-a-saga. But I digress.
Jeremie Boga, all of 18 earthly years old, has been knocking on the fringes of the Chelsea first team recently, but it's been looking likely for a while that he'd head out on loan this season. He had been linked fairly heavily with Marseille earlier this summer, but according to recent rumors out of Spain, he's close to making a move to Rayo Vallecano. Rayo's where Gael Kakuta found plenty of success (finally) last season, though hopefully that's the only aspect of Kakuta's Chelsea career that Boga shall emulate.

Once almost as promising as Boga, Islam Feruz's stock has fallen rather drastically over the last couple years thanks to injuries and subpar performances in the youth teams followed by a series a weird and failed loans, like that time he went to the Russian second division for about 5 hours. So, after a grand total of 5 appearances last season, the soon-to-be 20-year-old boy who once promised to be a less scary version of Carlos Tevez has been linked with various lower league English sides instead. The Mail claimed a trio of Championship clubs (Bristol City, Leeds, and Wolves) were interested a couple days ago, while earlier the likes of QPR and Burnley were supposedly keen as well. Perhaps because nothing has come of those links yet, this morning there was a rumor about League One side Oldham Athletic even.
If Islam Feruz goes to Oldham on loan as rumoured he'd be joining/competing for a place with #formerblue Danny Philliskirk. #CFC

Two more to add then to the loan army, pretty soon, with a few more to come still before the end of the transfer window on Tuesday.
