It's been a couple weeks since we first heard of potential interest from Championship side Reading about bringing in some help on loan from Chelsea, with manager Steve Clarke looking to use his Blues' contacts to good effect. The player linked back then was Nathaniel Chalobah, and it would appear that his move will finally go ahead.
Told that #readingfc are on the verge of completing a loan move that will see Nathaniel Chalobah return to the club.

Chalobah spent the second half of last season also on loan at Reading — after failing to get established at then Premier League side Burnley — garnering generally good reviews in his 20 appearances for the club. For a short while, he was joined by another Chelsea loanee (Nathan Aké, specifically), and it seems that will be the case again this season as well.
I'm also told that a loan deal to bring Lucas Piazon to the club from Chelsea u21s is close, though there's still a bit to do. #readingfc

Piazon, who will turn 22 already in January, has been a bit of a forgotten man this summer, spending much of it either on vacation or helping the Brazil U22 side to a bronze medal at the Pan American Games. He's rejoined Chelsea for training recently, but looks to be heading out on loan (unsurprisingly) once again. Should it happen, it will be Piazon's first loan in England (after spells in Spain, Netherlands, and Germany) and a chance to see how he deals with the traditional physicality of the lower divisions.
For both players (though Chalobah is a year younger than Piazon), it's probably getting close to last chance saloon in terms of a Chelsea career, so the best of luck to both of them in whatever move they choose for this season.
