Chelsea's newest signing, Pedro Rodriguez, may be called upon earlier than expected in his Chelsea career. The former Barcelona man could be in line for a surprise start this Sunday against West Bromwich Albion, as both Victor Moses and Oscar are injury doubts for the weekend:

Mourinho wouldn't confirm that Pedro or Baba Rahman will be selected this weekend with both officially arriving this week. Still, it would be surprising if neither of the pair were selected, even if it was only in a bench role.
With any luck, both injured players will be healthy enough to play against West Brom without risking their long-term health, giving Pedro a bit of time to settle before being thrust into the lineup. If not, however, it's comforting to know that the Blues now have options other than starting one of Ramires or Juan Cuadrado, as neither of those inspires all that much confidence.
