At 12:30pm this afternoon BST, Jose Mourinho is due to speak with broadcasters and media in the standard pre-match press conference in the usual press conference room at Cobham. But, chances are, it won't be your usual press conference. Ostensibly, the topic is the upcoming match on Sunday against Manchester City, an early season big ticket showdown between two of the title favorites for this season. Not many seem to care about that right now.
On a sidenote, even fewer seem to care about last weekend's game, and that isn't sitting well at all with Swansea manager Garry Monk. Trust us, Garry, we'd like nothing more than to overanalyze that 2-2 draw, instead of overanalyzing video footage or debating the finer points of swearing in Portuguese or just where and what line got crossed and by whom.
But it doesn't look like we're going to get that luxury anytime, and Mourinho's likely to get his fair share of pointed questions as well today. Assuming he actually answers them, of course, and doesn't just storm out, or shut the proceedings down, or simply send somebody else instead. This is Mourinho we're talking about, after all.
So, while we wait ... what do you think will happen?
