Chelsea have released their squad numbers ahead of Sunday's Community Shield, and while the Blues have been relatively quiet on the transfer front, there were a few changes of note, confirming what we had known since the start of preseason. Here's the full list, via the Chelsea website:

– Asmir Begovic
– Branislav Ivanovic
– Cesc Fabregas
– Kurt Zouma
– Nathan Ake
– Ramires
– Oscar
– Radamel Falcao
– Eden Hazard
– Juan Cuadrado
– John Mikel Obi
– Thibaut Courtois
– Bertrand Traore
– Loic Remy
– Diego Costa
– Victor Moses
– Nemanja Matic
– Willian
– Gary Cahill
– John Terry
– Jamal Blackman
– Cesar Azpilicueta
– Nathaniel Chalobah
– Ola Aina
– Dominic Solanke
– Ruben Loftus-Cheek
– Jake Clarke-Salter

Petr Cech's replacement, Asmir Begovic, has simply taken Cech's shirt number as well. Meanwhile, Radamel Falcao, who many fear will flop, takes over the infamous number 9 worn by numerous other less-than-impressive strikers in the past.

The only major change is Juan Cuadrado, who takes over the number 11 of Didier Drogba (and also Oscar), while Bertrand Traore has been handed the number 14 shirt. The number 3 of Filipe Luis is still vacant, but would seem to be a prime candidate to be filled when Chelsea find his replacement.
