I hope you got your Justin Bieber-based chants ready, because it looks like Baba's going to be ours. Ooh, baby! I mean Baba! Like, Baba, Baba, Baba, oooh...
"Both clubs are still working on fine-tuning but we hope the agreement will be finalised soon."

According to the Guardian's report, that's a quote specifically about Chelsea's €25m (£17.5m) bid for the 21-year-old left back, rumors of which broke early yesterday. That's certainly a decent amount of cash for a backup, but we are paying for a bit of potential in here, too, unlike last summer when Filipe Luis was bought in what we figured was (still) his prime.
In Friday's press conference, Jose Mourinho did confirm that we are actively working to bring in a left back (duh), but he stopped short of confirming that it our primary target was Baba Rahman. Then again, Mourinho was surprisingly reticent to talk about any transfer activities; surprising, given his summer-long candor about such matters.
"We are trying to sign a left-back. We have only one [César Azpilicueta]. We are trying."

Sorry, Nathan Aké. It was always going to be a long-shot as a left back anyway.
