Latest Chelsea kit leak features a slighty different spin on Yokohama as sponsor

The days keep ticking by.  We're into July.  Halfway through the offseason.  Even the transfer window has now opened officially.  And yet, we still don't know what next year's shirts are going to look like.

Though that's probably not quite a true statement.  We have had so many leaks of next year's shirt, it's practically going to be the least surprising reveal whenever it does happen.  Alternatively, it's going to be most surprising, since we're all expecting this blue number with the red trim accents and the henley style placket and collar.

Notice anything different?  It would seem that our sponsor will actually be Yokohama Tyres, rather than just a simple Yokohama.  In a way, it's a bit of a nice parallel to Samsung Mobile a decade ago as opposed to just the simple Samsung to which that eventually evolved.

We had figured that the new shirts would drop once the Samsung sponsorship officially ended at the end of May.  That proved untrue, and Chelsea played the friendly in Sydney with Chelsea Foundation plastered across the fronts of the last season's designs.  Then, we figured the new shirts would arrive when the new fiscal season started on July 1st.  And yet, still nothing.  But if these latest Twitter rumors and public sightings in adidas shops are to be believed, we're getting very close.
