Moses: Next time I'll score

In his first game back at Chelsea following two years out on loan, Victor Moses did almost everything right. No, he didn't score, but he terrorised the New York defence and was only denied the goal he deserved by the width of the post. Moses is not exactly held in high regard by Blues supporters, and while a strong showing in preseason won't (nor should it) make much of a dent in anyone's opinions of him, it's surely better than the alternative.

What did the Nigeria international think of his display?

I thought I had scored but that is part of the game. I shall work hard now on my finishing and next time when I have the same opportunity, I will put the ball in the back of the net. The legs are little bit tired and you know what the first pre-season game is like, but we have just got to pick ourselves back up and we are looking forward to the next game against PSG.

Next time when I have the same opportunity, I will put the ball in the back of the net. That's the right attitude. Did well? Great. Do better. If he keeps that up, Moses' second stint at Chelsea could be more memorable than the first.
