Filipe Luis's transfer back to Atlético Madrid looks all but done at this point, with some reports claiming that he's flown in to Spain yesterday to have his medical already.  They even claim to know which terminal of the airport in Madrid he used!  Meanwhile, Atlético president Cerezo addressed the media as well.

"As for Filipe, I think he'll be arriving very soon. Siqueira is a great player and it's possible that we'll keep him too. I love the squad we have, the additions have been fantastic and we're going to have a really great season."

There were reports yesterday that the Spanish side were having trouble coming up with the cash needed to (re-)secure Filipe's services, and that his arrival was contingent on Guilherme Siqueira's departure.  But Cerezo's showing no such concerns and even leaves the door open for the other left back to stay beyond just the one year.  Siqueira was of course signed just last summer in anticipation of Filipe's departure, and according to reports, wants to stay with Diego Simeone's men.

While the deal could still technically go wrong at this point due to medical or financial shenanigans, it's been confirmed and re-confirmed by both sides several times and as much as possible without becoming official.  Yet.
