Reports in France are claiming that Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic is currently in Monaco, and set to undergo a medical ahead of a season-long loan swap. Pasalic signed with Chelsea last summer, before heading on loan to La Liga side Elche, where he impressed.
The Blues have reportedly agreed to loan several talented youngsters to Monaco as part of their exchange for striker Radamel Falcao, who rumors suggest will be introduced by Chelsea in the very near future. The Ligue 1 side have also been reported to be interested in Charly Musonda Jr, along with quite a few other sides throughout Europe.
Monaco finished third in Ligue 1 last season, meaning they'll play in the Champions League qualifiers, entering into the third qualifying round. That means they'd need to win both their third round matchup as well as the final qualifier in order to return to the Champions League for a second consecutive season.
