Claudio Ranieri is a name that brings fond memories to most Chelsea fans. From being called "The Tinkerman" by the English media to helping to build one of the strongest squads of the modern game in his last season with the Blues, the Italian coach is an important part of the club's recent history. And just this week, he took a job with Leicester City as their new manager after they cut links with Nigel Pearson.

Now, it seems that Ranieri has set his sights on a young Chelsea midfielder to help his club stay up for a second season running. According to The Telegraph, Ranieri is interested in signing Dutch midfielder Nathan Aké on loan after Esteban Cambiasso rejected a new contract with the Foxes. Apparently, the Leicester staff had their eyes on the Chelsea youngster even before Claudio's arrival, and he accepted the idea with open arms.

The report also claims that Nathan Aké has picked up interest from Aston Villa -- who just saw their captain and midfielder Fabian Delph transferring to Manchester City -- and Newcastle.

Three weeks ago, it seemed that Nathan Aké was set to join Middlesbrough on loan with Tomas Kalas, whose deal was made official just yesterday. Now, Aké has three suitors in the Premier League.
