Roma's interest in Mohamed Salah isn't anything new. The Giallorossi have been, in fact, the "better behaved" party -- when compared with Inter Milan -- as far as Fiorentina are concerned, and thus they would be okay with Salah ending up with Totti & Co in the Italian capital.
Trouble is, Fiorentina are still demanding excess compensation for Salah beyond just a refund of the loan fee. And if that wasn't complicated enough already, the interested parties are apparently exploring an even more convoluted solution to this whole thing.
Roma officials spoke with their Fiorentina counterparts today who have asked to take Mattia Destro on loan. Roma are hoping to use this as part of any deal to get Salah who is currently owned by Chelsea.

But wait, there's more.
...multiple reports suggest [Roma] had their first meeting with Chelsea and the player today in London. The Corriere dello Sport claims Salah has already given the all-clear to this move, so now the two clubs are in negotiations.
Sky Sport Italia state Destro is part of the deal, either going to Chelsea and then being loaned out to Fiorentina or directly to the Viola from Roma to get their blessing.
Roma want Salah on loan with either an option to buy or a mandatory buy-out clause.

So that's one loan-to-buy, one buy-to-loan, one flight to London, one silly Liverpool rumor, and several headaches, if you're keeping track.
Ugh. Can't we just strap them all to a probe to Pluto and send them on their merry way?
