Chelsea and adidas decided to wait until the first day of preseason to finally and officially release the 2015-16 home kit. Unfortunately for their marketing departments, this shirt has been just about least closely guarded secret in kit release history, and thus, there are absolutely no surprises to speak of in this official announcement.

The sponsor still says "TYRES," the sponsor's logo is still red, the sleeves and the bottom hem are still a bit weird, the collar's not everyone's cup of tea. But, it's Blue, and in the end, that's all that matters. And, judging by yesterday's leaked promo shots, they will look much better when worn anyway.

There's no official word on the away kit or the the third kit, but judging by the same leaks that revealed the home kit well in advance of today's official announcement, the away shirt will be white and the third shirt will be black. Classic enough, I suppose.
