In an action-fueled saga, some scenes will pass by so quickly, you will not even the chance to pay too much attention to them. In Mohamed Salah's case, one such scene was the introduction of a new character: Napoli, led by their (in)famous president and (and film producer) Aurelio De Laurentiis. According to Naples' Radio Blu earlier today, the team had submitted a formal bid of €22 million for the Chelsea player -- or £15.7 million in current exchange rates.
Salah's agent Ramy Abbas was quick to deny such rumours.
An offer from Napoli? I don't know anything about it. Nobody has ever told me about an offer from Napoli. At the moment there's no chance he'll go to Napoli.

So far, we have had Mohamed Salah linked with five Italian clubs: Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Roma, Juventus and now Napoli. Seeing Salah drumming up this kind of interest after that dreadful Bradford performance seems surprising but it also shows how "one man's trash is another man's treasure."
