Chelsea have confirmed another loan, having agreed to send 18-year old Victorien Angban to Sint-Truiden for the entire 2015/16 season. The loan does not include an option to buy, though there's no word yet whether or not FIorentina approve.
Angban has played for the Chelsea youth sides in the past, getting minutes for the U21 team as far back as 2012, though he didn't officially join the club until he turned 18 this past January. He's considered one of the brightest young prospects in Africa, and has been a regular in the Ivory Coast youth setup for the past five years. Like Bertrand Traore, however, his lack of an EU passport has made the path to London a bit more difficult.
This loan will likely be the first of several for the Ivorian, who would seem to be a prime candidate for a stop at Vitesse Arnhem next season if things go well in Belgium. For now, though, it will be interesting to see how he does with his first taste of senior football in Europe.
