It's the hope that dies last.  And the transfer window isn't even open yet!  Plenty of time to live and frolic in our (mid)-field of dreams, featuring Paul Pogba alongside Nemanja Matic and the rest of our midfield options.

So here we go, breathing life back into this thing.

Yesterday we reported Barcelona's interest [...] But now there is also Chelsea, who has contacted the player's entourage.

There's a pulse!  I can feel it.  Call Doctors Mourinho, Emenalo, and Granovskaia!  Stat!  That means now!

Di Marzio, who seems to be all about Chelsea and Juventus today, goes on to claim some sort of issue with Pogba's proposed wages and image rights or whatnot, but that seems rather premature at this point considering that Juventus seem intent on not selling the much coveted 22-year-old, who's "at the top of the wish list of many big clubs" for anything other than all the gold in Fort Knox.  Manchester City were rumored to have bid upwards of £70m, for example.  Then again, we should be able to flex big financial bro-muscles as well this summer, bro, if we so choose, bro.

Few things would make me happier than seeing those muscles flex for Pogba, I must admit.
