I must confess, I had forgotten about Islam Feruz. From highly promising to utterly forgettable, his journey in Chelsea colors has been rather Gael Kakuta-esque so far (minus any legal proceedings and potential transfer bans and first-team appearances).
Last season, he set a modern record with not one, not two, but three head-scratching loans, first to the second division in Russia where he lasted all of two days, then to the generally terrible Greek league where he managed two appearances, and then, after a failed trial at Cardiff, finally to entirely mismanaged Blackpool where he added a further two appearances to his season.
Despite those brutal 12 months, Feruz seems to still be in demand, and not just in the Russian second division.
The 19-year-old is attracting interest from a host of Championship clubs including Queens Park Rangers, MK Dons and Burnley.
Likewise, overseas clubs Getafe and Lorient are also keen on the youngster ahead of the new campaign.

That being said, the blurb from the Mail reads almost like a classified ad. Feruz's agent looking to remind others who may have also forgotten about the once highly promising forward? One gently used football career, possible attitude issues. Remnants of previously stratospheric promise may or may not be included. Subsidized weekly wages, obo.
