Mourinho-whisperer Duncan Castles is back with an update on Jose Mourinho's contract extension. And the update is ... well, the same as before. Except the part where it was expected to be signed before the end of the Premier League season has been changed simply to "soon."
Jose Mourinho is on the point of signing a new four-year Chelsea contract that will affirm his status as the Premier League's best-paid football manager.

The rest of the article is behind the Sunday Times's paywall, but mischievous 101 Great Goals have posted a screenshot of the print edition so we can glean that Mourinho's salary is set to be a Premier League-best £7.25m (after taxes!) and that both Rui Faria and Silvino Louro have been offered extensions as well. Presumably, their salaries will be just a tad bit less, though high enough to dissuade either of them to strike out on their own. No word on Steve Holland.
Castles also joins the Falcao party by claiming that personal terms have been agreed, though he claims it could be a loan or a buy at this point still. And he also claims that as of right now, Loïc Rémy doesn't want to leave and Chelsea aren't looking to sell him.
