Chelsea vs. Thailand XI: Confirmed Lineups and Game Thread

Mike Hewitt/Getty Images

What better way to celebrate being crowned Premier League champions than to turn up in Thailand for a friendly six days later? As expected, Chelsea are going with a very young lineup against the Thailand all-stars, which will probably make for a better game -- we've seen what happens when the senior squad turns up for meaningless matches over the past few weeks, and it's hardly a spectacle. How young? This young:

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1, probably): Petr Cech; Nathan Ake, Jake Clarke-Salter, Branislav Ivanovic, Ola Aina; Charlie Colkett, John Obi Mikel; Izzy Brown, Jeremie Boga, Loïc Rémy, Dom Solanke.

Substitutes from: Jamal Blackman, Cesar Azpilicueta, John Terry, Andreas Christensen, Jay Dasilva, Nemanja Matic, Jordan Houghton, Charlie Musonda, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa.

I don't even know where to look for the Thailand starting lineup, but I suspect most of you are here for the Chelsea news anyway. If not, sorry! If so, here's your thread to discuss the game.

Pre-emptive reminder: cheer up, it's a friendly.
