Courtois set to miss Chelsea's post-season tour

Following the 2014/15 season which saw Chelsea crowned as Premier League champions, the Blues will be embarking on a post-season tour with stops in Thailand and Australia. They were already going to be without several regulars due to injury, and now their starting goalkeeper has been added to the absentee list.

Courtois will remain at home with his girlfriend for the birth of their first child, but hopes to be available for international duty following the Chelsea tour. That likely means a final pair of starts for Petr Cech, who will likely be leaving the club before the pre-season trip to the United States in July.

Also missing the tour will be Cesc Fabregas, Ramires, and Oscar due to injury, while Willian, Filipe Luis, and Juan Cuadrado will be away in international duty. I suppose that means that we'll be seeing plenty of youth involved in that pair of matches now.
