No serious bids yet for Schneiderlin, Clyne, according to Southampton manager Ronald Koeman

At this point, as far as we can tell, Chelsea's interest in either Southampton player is tenuous at best and hasn't really moved beyond the initial rumor stage.  Both could be sensible targets for us -- at the right price, of course -- and with Southampton openly admitting that they face a battle to keep either player's signature, if we wanted to, we could easily flex our muscles here.

For now, however, it sounds like nobody's flexing yet.

"We're still speaking with Clyney and his agent. We have to know in 10 days. He's very happy and of course there is some interest but nobody has really bid for the player."

Apparently Clyne has been given a 10-day ultimatum, which seems like a risky strategy for the club.  Surely, the young right back could get a far bigger payday elsewhere in the Premier League.

"Morgan will be out for four or five weeks, so that means until the end of the season. I don''t know [if he's played his last game], or about interest or about bids. There aren't any serious bids for the player. He is happy but it's up to the player."

Schneiderlin hurt his knee against Tottenham last Saturday and while scans revealed no major damage, the midfielder will still miss the rest of the season.  Many are thus saying he's played his last game for Saints.  Will his next one be in Chelsea Blue?  It wouldn't be the worst outcome...
