Drogba fit, Costa, Remy questionable for Arsenal match

Jose Mourinho spoke to the media on Friday, and gave us an update on the injury situation ahead of Sunday's clash with Arsenal. For the most part, it was good news.

First and foremost, the Blues will have at least one senior striker fit ahead of the clash at the Emirates, as Mourinho confirmed that Didier Drogba was fit enough to play. When asked about Loic Remy, he couldn't say for sure, and will make a decision on Diego Costa's availability on Saturday. Outside of that group, there are no fitness issues with the squad.

Mourinho also confirmed that Dominic Solanke was held out of a U21 match this week with the Arsenal match in mind, and that Diego Costa would be ready to go against Leicester on Wednesday if he wasn't fit enough for this weekend. That said, I think we're all hoping that one of Remy or Costa are good to go on Sunday.
