Rémy 'better than 50-50' to face Manchester United, Costa could be back for Arsenal

It's time for this week's Striker Injury Watch, in which we get to find out whether our centre forwards are ruled out of the weekend's game or will be ruled out later with a new injury anyway. No, I'm not cranky about having so few options for the run in -- why do you ask?

Anyway, Jose Mourinho gave an update on his recuperating forward crew, and the news sounds broadly positive. Diego Costa is definitely out for tomorrow's clash against Manchester United, but could feature at the Emirates a week later, and Loïc Rémy, whose absence was keenly felt against Queens Park Rangers in the 1-0 win last weekend, is 'better than 50-50' to play. Which is worse than being 'fit', but after Didier Drogba was forced to huff and puff as best he could at Loftus Road I'll pretty much take anything.

There are no other injuries, so I suppose we could always stick John Obi Mikel up top if we really need a goal.
