Chelsea U19, Champions of Europe!

The good times continue in the Chelsea Academy, this time with continental triumph, as Adi Viveash's charges defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 3-2 Monday afternoon in Switzerland to win the second edition of the UEFA Youth League.

Here are the Chelsea goals (via @chelseayouth):

Two strikes from captain Izzy Brown sandwiched Dominic Solanke's 34th goal of the season -- tying Tammy Abraham for the club lead -- and staked Chelsea to a 3-1 advantage after the first half ended all even 1-1.  A late Shakhtar goal in stoppage times made things interesting for a moment, but Chelsea held on for the win and got to celebrate with a lovely trophy.

Champions of Europe, we know what they are!

Chelsea (4-2-3-1):
Brad Collins | Jay Dasilva, Jake Clarke-Salter, Andreas Christensen, Ola Aina | Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Charlie Colkett | Jeremie Boga, Charly Musonda Jr, Izzy Brown | Dominic Solanke

Substitutes used: Tammy Abraham, Kasey Palmer
Substitutes not used: Jared Thompson, Fikayo Tomori, Kyle Scott, Ruben Sammut, Dujon Sterling

Congrats to all!
