One thing you learn when you live in a place that's near a native bear habitat is how to behave around these magnificent beings. Rule number one: avoid. Do not provoke. Leave the bear alone, especially when in his territory (like, say, a football pitch) and especially when her teammates cubs are around, too. They're faster than you'd ever believe and most definitely stronger than you. Fight back only if attacked, which is rare.
Here's an example of what NOT to do.

Luckily for them, Branislav Ivanović, at least today, decided to feed on their tears and hate, rather than their flesh and blood.
I suppose we shouldn't fault QPR fans for not knowing how to behave*. The only bear they've likely encountered in their lifetimes is Paddington Bear.
* and that's without delving into the pantomime abuse hurled at John Terry, or Oscar, others (Oscar has since deleted his Instagram and Twitter post highlighting the abusive fan)
But at least one guy is very quick learner. How quick? About the time it takes to take two steps, or until Ivanovic notices you.
What is your major malfunction Mr. QPR Fan?
