Victor Moses plays it cool on Stoke City future

Perhaps this is all just part of a negotiating strategy to up his transfer fee (and thus Mr. Agent's share) or his own future salary, but here's Victor Moses playing it cool with regards to his future at Stoke City.

"I just want to help Stoke as best as I can to finish as high as I can. As I've said before, I'm still a Chelsea player. I'm here to do a professional job for Stoke. I will do my best to help Stoke finish in the top eight. That's my aim."

"It's been nice to hear the manager say he'd like me to stay. He's a great manager and he's done well for this club. Before I came here I spoke to him and it looked like the club was heading in the right direction. That's the main reason I came here on loan."

"I'm enjoying my football here and the style of play suits me."

Surely, he's not thinking he might give it another go at Cobham, is he?  He's got a great thing going on at Stoke and his permanent move to the mid-table side has looked a foregone conclusion for some time now.  Yes, he may not see European football for the foreseeable future -- not even Europa League -- but he's a nailed-on starer, he's loved by the fans, and he's involved in the local community.

So, come on Stoke.  Don't be stingy.  Pay the man.
