PILLARS OF JUST ONE HOUR:
So I managed to squeeze in about an hour of Pillars of Eternity. Enough to work through some Steam lag, fiddle with the settings, create a character (Fire-godlike Cipher -- the closest I could get to creating my usual Dak'kon-like main character), kill a wolf, and find some berries. Exciting!
So far, I'm impressed, not in the least by the fact that it runs quite nicely on my ancient late '08 MacBook Pro. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, which makes me excited to dive in properly. Just need to find the time...

In a surprise move, SI resurrected Eastside Hockey Manager (i.e.
Football Hockey Manager) and put it up on Steam early access. There was a time that EHM rivaled by CM/FM obsession, though for now I'm just watching from a distance to see what they come up with.
