One-hundred and ten and never fresher, Chelsea arrive at another anniversary in great style, shiny new League Cup trophy in tow. Will there be cake? You bet!
On 10 March 1905, men met in a pub on Fulham Rd. That's why we're all here. Happy birthday Chelsea. You're remarkably agile for a 110yr old.

I'm guessing those men didn't have any cake. More for us!

As we know, we were denied entry in the Southern League thanks to the objections of Fulham & Spurs, so instead we joined the Football League. And the rest, as they say, is history. Except they really do mean it this time, in the truest sense of the word. Lots and lots of history.
Of course, this being Chelsea, our main concerns are with making history. And that begins anew on Wednesday night.
"Right now the likes of Oscar, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill are on the cusp of creating a new era or dynasty as Jose has said. It may be fun to look back on great times as a player and as an ex-player, but nothing beats being involved in it at the time. It is particularly special to be in at the very start of something good."
