Chelsea teammates say farewells to Schürrle

André Schürrle was sometimes criticised by the fans, but on the whole he seemed fairly well-liked by both supporters and teammates. And now that he's off to Wolfsburg (for rather a lot of money), said teammates are saying their farewells.

Here's Cesc Fabregas:

Goodluck on your new adventure my friend. We will miss you. @andreschuerrle

And now Filipe Luis:

Albino, it was an honour to play with you. Good luck!!! We will miss you. @andreschuerrle

I'm not entirely sure why Filipe called Schürrle 'Albino', but hey, let's roll with it.

For my part I'll miss Schürrle a lot -- I had high hopes for him this year and for a very short while it looked as though he'd be able to fulfill them -- but I'm glad he's able to go somewhere where he'll be a regular starter and an important part of a push for trophies. Good luck in Germany!
