Chelsea academy product (and fast human being) Alex Kiwomya has returned to Chelsea from his loan spell at Barnsley. The youngster was originally sent on loan in early January, before having his loan extended until March 3 earlier in February.
On Wednesday, Chelsea TV confirmed that the attacker has returned to Chelsea, cutting his loan spell at Barnsley short:

All told, Kiwomya made five appearances for the League 1 side, totaling 286 minutes on the pitch. He was also an unused substitute on two separate occasions. Kiwomya is still eligible to join other lower division sides as the emergency loan window is open, and seems like a candidate to join a team in need of attacking reinforcements on a short-term loan. In the interim, he'll likely see some action with the U21 side.
