Paris Saint-Germain's injury crisis appears to have serious teeth. After losing a slew of players on Saturday against Caens, the Parisians' main hope was that none of the injuries would prove serious, but ... yeah, no.
From UEFA.com:
Serge Aurier, Yohan Cabaye and Lucas Moura are officially out, unfortunately. There are two or three other players who are doubtful [Thiago Motta, Blaise Matuidi, Marquinhos], we’ll have to assess their fitness after today’s training session.
I'll ask them if they are 100% fit and ready for this match, as for this type of fixtures, you need all your players on the pitch to be at 100%.
I wouldn't have expected Aurier or Cabaye to start against Chelsea, but Lucas Moura's already a significant blow and if Motta and Matuidi are both out PSG are looking extremely thin in midfield, which should theoretically be their strongest aspect. Perhaps we'll see David Luiz there?
