David Luiz: Zlatan helped lure me from Chelsea

When you can't beat them, seduce them. Or, heck, if you can beat them, seduce them too. That's the Parisian way, of course, and in the aftermath of the first leg of our Champions League quarterfinal last year Paris Saint-Germain were busy chatting up every player we could. They were unsuccessful with Eden Hazard and Oscar, but David Luiz ended up switching sides in the summer. And now he's saying that it was down to the dulcet whisperings of one Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

There are two Zlatans: one the media portray and then the real one. He was one of the big reasons that I chose to join Paris. When Chelsea played Paris he said to me during the game, you need to come and play with us next season.

Considering how much money we got for Luiz, you could argue that Ibrahimovic actually did us a favour. But really, if Zlatan wanted to play alongside David Luiz that badly I'd have taken him at Chelsea a few seasons ago ...
