At times, the performance was improved. Yet, just as we have all season, we found ways to shoot ourselves in the foot, to concede silly goals, to make individual mistakes, to squander good attacking opportunities. Not to mention, miss another penalty kick.

At least Diego Costa looked dangerous again, though he again managed to get suspended in a most untimely fashion after getting his fifth yellow for a moment of hotheadedness. Rémy against Manchester United then?
