Leicester City vs. Chelsea, Premier League: Half-time report

1-0 to the bad guys.

Well, safe to say things are not yet going according to plan for Chelsea.  No goals, no clean sheet, and even a key injury to Eden Hazard.   Both in attack and in defense we've looked ponderous, uninspired, inaccurate, and even nervous at times.  Leicester meanwhile look strong, direct, energetic, and enterprising.

Chelsea do have two shots on goal, and have even hit the bar with a header from Nemanja Matic.  But set pieces have been the only time we've looked somewhat threatening, which is not necessarily a recipe for success.  Especially when we're already losing by a goal.

If we're looking for signs of hope, we did go behind here last season only to score 3 and go on to win comfortably.  Costa is slowly getting into the heads of the defenders; he just needs better support for Oscar and Pedro (Willian can't do it all by himself).  Ramires and Matic and the rest of the defense need to sort out their yips.  (JT & Zouma looked especially useless on the Vardy goal.)

And we got this.  Right?  Right.

Come on, Chelsea!
