For the first time all season, a Chelsea cup match will be shown live on (UK) television. Chelsea's League Cup matches were only picked up by foreign cameras, but our FA Cup third round match against either Scunthorpe United or fellow Londoners Leyton Orient was chosen for broadcast by BT Sport. To determine who comes to Stamford Bridge, the two lower league sides are set for their non-televised second round replay on Tuesday, December 15.
Our match will be one of three shown on Sunday, January 10, and one of six shown altogether that weekend. The full schedule of matches picked includes several Premier League heavyweights as well as a several opportunities for some Magic of the Cup giant-killings.

Chelsea's third round match last season was also not televised (a 3-0 win against Watford), and that trend continued into our fourth round match, at home to Bradford City, as well. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Let's hope our campaign is a bit more successful this season!
