SHATTERED:
Ran a 5mi+ obstacle/mud race on Sunday, with about 20 different challenges thrown in to that short distance. It's my third time doing it and this one's theoretically the shortest version, but combined with the Sunday League match I played later that evening, I'm beyond physically shattered at the moment.
Which matches my mental state after Saturday, so hurray! Now it's all torn down; we can start again.
Adding to the race's challenge was that it started raining right at the start and it quickly turned the venue (which normally is a cow ranch/pasture) into a treacherous muddy slip-n-slide. The Sacramento race is famous for this "feature"; when it's dry, the course is hot and dusty, but when it's wet, it's slow and super hard.
NICE ONE, CAM:

So, according to the one of the comments on that video, that kid actually lost his father recently and was attending the game with his grandparents and on tickets given to him by a generous donor. Such a simple gesture from an athlete to bring some much needed joy into that kid's life.
