Paul Pogba is represented by Mino Raiola, and as such, there will constantly be transfer rumors surrounding the player, most often, fueled by comments the agent makes. On Tuesday, Raiola went out of his way to shoot downrumors that the Juventus midfielder is already destined for Barcelona, when asked about the rumors of a forthcoming move:

"Barcelona? If I'm honest no because we'd already spoken with them and there was no chance of them buying him. We've said that when we feel the time is right, with the right project, the right team and all parties in agreement, we'll be able to leave."

It makes sense that the agent would want to squash these rumors before other clubs with interest began to think that the player is no longer available. Speaking of those other clubs and a future move...

"In the end there were three big clubs with 85 million euros on the table, or a little more including add-ons, which took the total to 100 million, but a deal was not concluded because Pogba didn't want to leave and Juventus wanted him to stay for at least another year."

"We turned down several teams last year, we're looking for the right moment. This means that Pogba has not yet decided to definitely leave at the end of the season."

We all know that Mourinho is a big fan of Pogba, and that he wanted the player at Stamford Bridge this summer. Chelsea were almost certainly one of the three clubs with a massive offer on the table for the midfielder, and in all likelihood, will be back in for him in January, or at the latest, the summer of 2016.
