Welcome back to the Willian show. Unfortunately, it's not a very good show. It's one of those really really bad movies, but with a great performance or two. So you suffer through the rest of the stilted dialogue, the shoddy camerawork, the plot holes, and the inconsistent sound mix just to appreciate that one great turn. It's like Michael Keaton in Multiplicity.
Now, if only we could clone Willian as well.
That's now 6 Man of the Match awards in the last 7 games for the man who was fouled no less than 10 times. And those were just the ones that were called!

Hey, remember when Ramires scored in the 4th minute. Those were fun times, no?
Willian's run of Man of the Match awards and Ramires's matching streak of 7 starts in a row both stem from their excellent substitute performances against Newcastle, when we brought it back to 2-2 late on. Sadly, of the seven since, we've only won one and lost five.
Correlation? Causation? Whatever it is, these two have not reaped the rewards of their good performances (in general) over that period.

When in doubt, put Dave third.
His strong run forward and well-taken assist for the goal is certainly something we could use more of. (While still retaining some semblance of defensive ability at the back.)
It should be noted that for some reason, Azpilicueta did not get credited with an official assist. Instead, he got an "unsuccessful cross" added to his name. Yeah, I don't know either. Just one of those Opta things I guess.
